We bought the small piece of land last year...It was totally untouched, which was what we exactly wanted! And the biggest bonus was it's fabulous view!
The tedious paper work done and after innumerable applications to numerous authorities, the place was finally ours.
There were only two neem trees and one palm. Though it was really really hot in the absence of trees in the summer, the beautiful view was cooling to the eyes. During our initial visits, we would camp out in the day in the make-shift tent. The kids enjoyed the 'day-camping' and we started bonding with Mother Earth. We slowly got to learn the wonderful world of flora and fauna around. It surprised us to realise the seemingly quiet and untouched land was buzzing with activity! There were nests of weaver bird hidden in the palm, birds visiting occassionally to devour the insect life hidden under the soil and the occassional hare (we found some fresh droppings). Slowly and steadily, we started on building our pile of plans, drawings, data collected on the net. Getting to know our neighbours was on our priority and the journey started...
Join us in the journey towards making this dream come true...
